encouraging scriptures for work and goals


To be at peace despite the chaos and business of life is such an awesome thing. Meditating on the Scriptures to press on toward the goal is something that I am currently working on. I gathered these Scriptures and want to share them here. I have listed the credit sources on the bottom. I pray these bless you and your family. Shalom and Blessings to you all <3

Colossians 3:23-24

"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ."

The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it.

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.
